    Hello,

L2 EAD cannot be applied while you are outside the US. You must be present here and apply from here (you may choose to leave after you have filed the EAD application and while it is in process- but this is not recommended).

EAD is filed via Form I-765 and it primarily requires L1 and L2 visa information, arrival information etc. There is not a whole lot of documentation needed to file for initial EAD. You also must pay a fee to the USCIS. For the best and most up-to-date information, please and always refer to the USCIS website (https://www.uscis.gov/i-765).

    Good luck.
