L1 A individual petition and i94 extension

I wanted to seek some help to understand the best possible option for the below situation:
1. My husband is on L1A Individual visa and has his visa stamping valid until Nov 14 2021
2. The I94 and petition is however valid until June 19 2019
3. I am on L2 visa and working on EAD which is also valid until the I94 valid date

Help needed:
1. Can we get our I94 extended in this case so that I can get my EAD extended before it expires and continue working?
2. If we get I94 extended, does the petition expiry matter?

Yes, you can file extension right now.

I94 gives you legal stay, but wont give eligibility to work. Hence you need to extend your petition first & I94 will be extended accordingly.
