L1A Individual Visa Approved - Chennai Consulate

Firstly, I thank this forum which helped me getting ready for my visa interview. My interview was on 8th Jan 2019.

The questions asked:

Your petitioner is ZZZ?
What is your US Salary?
Client Location or Office location?
Role?

To my son:
How old are you?
Which grade are you studying in?

My Spouse:
She had changed her name after marriage and they confirmed if this was right.

Finally golden words "Your Visa Is Approved" and they retained the passport and handed the approval slip...

However, when I checked CEAC website the day after my interview. It mentions "In Administrative Processing". Anyone in this forum can tell me if this is common?

Yes, its common - wait for sometime & high chances you'll get your passport with visa stamped.

Validity

How much validity did you get in your stamping, is it same as per the approved petition(Approval Notice) or 3 years from the date of stamping?
