L2 EAD Extension Query
My L1A extension and my wifes L2 extension is filed by company and is in progress.
Once I get my wife's receipt notice I will file for my wife's EAD renewal.
Looking at the timeline for L1A extension timeline..it looks like its a long haul.
Somewhere I read, if I am applying for my wife's EAD extension, after 3 months of the submission, if the result has not yet come, I can go to USCIS local office and get an temporary EAD card issued.
Is this true and valid ? Can I work with that temporary EAD card?
In that case what documents I need to give to USCIS local office?
