L1b Extension in Progress and new H1B request

If L1B Extension is in process (Case received status) and H1B COS is also filed simultaneously, how does it goes? Like L1B Extension goes to RFE, will H1B be dependent on how it is going with L1B or its entirely different process?

Can anyone share insights if they dealt with such situation before?

Both process are independent, but your status will be determined by the last application gets processed.

That means H1 Approved L1 Reject = No Status
or H1 Reject and L1 Approve = Valid L1 status?
