Hi Friends,
I am planning to file for L1B Visa. Let me give you some context:
I had valid L1B visa for 2016, which was extended to 2018 Nov, which is currently expired obviously.
I was working from US till 2017 end, and couldnt utilize it in 2018, for the lack of funds in the initiative I was working for. I want to apply for L1B again now, in 2019. Will I get red flagged for not been able to utilize my visa in 2018? Please let me know your thoughts on this. Do you recommend a cooling period before applying? I just want to be sure before filing it.
The other thing is, can we apply for work permit for other countries like Canada/Mexico during the L1B visa process? Can it impact my L1B visa?

Yes, you can apply for any visas anywhere in the world - just keep the documents & passport available when you appear for your L1B visa interview.
