How frequently can we come out of country on L2

Hi,

My spouse has a L1B and I hold a L2 Visa. In order to take care of few things in India, i have to travel back and forth between US and India. Can i do that with a L2 visa?

Is there any minimum time that i have to spend in USA for each visit? Is it better to apply for a B1/B2 visa and convert it to L2 later.

Any suggestions are welcome.

There is no such minimum requirement for L2 holder to stay in USA. However you need to stay in USA for more than 180 days in a year for tax purpose.
