L2 Visa i94 is differnt from that of L1 (Primary applicant)

I am on L1A with Wife and Kids on L2. The i-94 based on our entry was 04-July 2019 (all of us). I went to india on my personal leave (alone) and my wife and kids stayed back. On my return I got the i-94 changed as 22-Aug-2019. Wanted to know, if my wife and kids (with i-94 as 4-July-2019) can stay till 22-Aug-2019?

No, they cannot stay after their I94 because you have an extended I94. They need to file extension before their I94 expiry.

I94 is given to each individual & not to a family.
