Clarification on stamping
I like to know whether I need to go for US visa stamping if I have to visit India for family emergency for the below scenario.
I have an stamped L1 Visa with Visa expiry date Dec 2019 ( i.e. 5 Years from Issue Date) and PED Dec 2017 ( i.e. 3 Years from issue date) which I have received in US Consulate on Dec 2014.
Meanwhile I have converted my case my L1B to L1A and even received L1A extension with new approved petition (i.e. I797) with validity till Sep 2019.
So if I travel to India for emergency now, do I need to go for fresh Visa stamping or I can use the existing stamping and enter with new Petition.
L1B Visa Issue Date : Dec 2014
L1B Visa Expiry Date : Dec 2019
L1B PED ( in stamped visa) expiry Date : Dec 2017 ( which is expired already)
New L1A Approved Petition Expiry Date : Sep 2019
