L1 and L2

Hi, I have question about changing visa from L2 to L1.
I have been working for company X in india for two year and seven months till may 2006. Now I am in the US on L2 as my sposue has L1. I applied for EAD as well and the Biometric is done and waiting for the EAD card.
Now my old employer (Company X) is ready to give me a job in US office.
Here are my questions
1)Can I get an L1 for me and L2 for my spouse from Company X while am in the US?
2)Can I start work my old employer with L2+EAD in the US ? and ask them file L1 and L2 for me and my spouse paralelly ?

3)Since my spouse is currently working in US on L1, can she continue the work till L2 is stamped on her passport ?
4)To get our L1 and L2 , do we have to go to India to get it stamped ?
Can anyone please reply ??

Actually your spouse can continue on her own L1, and you can get your L1 done ( if you qualify for the requisites of a L1). If you get a successful COS, then you can start work on your L1 independantly.

Since my new job location is very far from my spouse's current location, i am planning to take my spouse with me. In that case my spouse will have to switch to L2. So is it possible for my spouse to continue on L1 till the status change to L2? Do we have to file a Change of status seperately.?
Can I ask my employer to file both L1 and L2 together ?
