Applying for EAD on L2 and job prospects in JAVA

Hi All,

I would be travelling to New York around september, and my wife would be travelling along on L2. Is there someone on the group who has applied for EAD frm New Jersey / New York region, how much time it would take and also as my wife would be applying for jobs, can some provide contact No/e-mail for good consultants in the NY/NJ region , Java/J2EE stream jobs, can she start with her job during the period she has applied for EAD or will she have to wait till she receives EAD(Employment Authorization doc).

I am staying nearby New Jersey place and have already applied for EAD. Am not sure about processing for EAD but i can assure you that there are lots of consultants in Newjersey and Newyork. Make sure she puts her resume in DICE.COM ,Careerbuilder.com where she will have lots of opportunities.
