221g AAP for L1 Blanket

I attended interview on 24jul06 and i got 221g AAP for L1 Blanket visa. The VO written "this project does not require specialized skills" in my I129 form under the denial reason column. Has anyone faced such situation, please share with me what could be done further?

Well I guess the 221g does mean that more specific documents are requried. Guess that would not the only thing the counseller would have told you. There might be additional steps involved. Check the bellow link,

Thanks for your reply vijay. I have all the documents with me and they are perfect. He didnt say anything about the documents. He asked about the project and the client and he decided that this project does not require some special skills to fall under blanket category. So he told me that this project does not suit this category. So, i thought my visa was rejected, but he ticked the option of additional administrative processing required. So, anyone know how long it will take to complete the process.

I am seeing lot of AAP for H1 and H4 visas in this forum. I have hardly seen 221g rejection for L1 Blanket visas. Could anyone help me please?

Hi,
I am still not clear. Did the Coun. mention anything to you like the US Consulate will contact you or something. If you don't remember like that, I would suggest contact them with the number they have provided. It's ok to contact them for these clarifications.

I sent a mail to Us consulate asking whether my application is under AAP or i can apply for new petition and got this reply

"Your company's HR department must make a decision on the the filing of the new petition".

My HR told me that they have already re-applied like that before and it got rejected. So they are asking me to wait for 5 more weeks

I had similar issue at Delhi Consulate. VO asked me to file Individual Petition, which my employer did and I got the stamping on new visa petition.

Could you please tell me that have you got 221g form with the first option ticked(i.e it requires additional administrative processing. This office will contact you once it is completed).

L1B reject with ticked additional info

Hi suganthi,

You got your visa? I am also facing same problem, my L1B got denied because of non proprietory skilled knowledge so in my case also he ticked one column with the content of upload additional documents. In my case also he was not looked at my documents at consulate. I dont know what it mean. Do i need to contact consultate for confirmation or to wait for some time?
Let me know what you have done after waiting for 5 months?
