L2 Visa Refusal under 221(g)

My wife was appeared for L2 dependent visa on 01 Aug 2006 at New Delhi US Consulate. Her visa was refused under section 221(g) with the reaon that the Consulate Office doesn't satisfy with Marriage Photos. They need more photo's to prove the marriage.

The letter (Yellow Color) was given stating that "No New Appoinment needed. Please return with required documentation on any bussiness day between 9.00 a.m and 1.00 p.m." + 120 days.

And also they mentioned that she can reappear on Chennai US Consulate itself (we are basically from Tamilnadu).

This (+ 120 days) written using pen and all other items in the letter are printed. In the top of the letter also written as "G**20 days". I am not sure what this G**20 days means?

Is it within 120 days we have reappear for PAI? OR Is it means that after 120 days?

Can someone pls clarify on this?

With that letter she can walk in any 9.00am to 1.00pm on tue wed thurs that what i did. She can talk more photos and marriage invitation if you have one. And also letter from you company stating that she would be joining you. I think she can walk into chennai consulate also I'm not clear in this. Be there by 8.00am. Did she paid her fees?

let us know more information given on the 221(g) letter. Was your wife redirected to the Chennai Consulate or she was given a choice to apprear in any one of the consulates.

Normally on a 221(g) refusal given by any other consulates in India and if you are redirected to go to Chennai, then you will need to inform the VFS Chennai about you appearing in Chennai. YOu can get more information about 221(g) at chennai.usconsulate.gov and NIV Visas and Refusals.

Also the exact issue was my wife's visa was refused because the US Consulate officer doesn't satisfy with the marriage poto's. They asked for more photo's. And we are based at Tamilnadu so they asked to appear on Chennai consulate on any business day between 9 am - 1 pm with required additional documentation (marriage phots). Also they mentioned that No need for new appoinment. Along with this the US consulate office written using pen that "**20 days".

Basically what they mean for this 120 days? We have to appear in Chennai consulate within 120 days or after 120 days? here is the one we got confused and nobody knows about this.

Can you pls let me know if you have any idea?
