COS by multiple employers

Hi,

I am on L1 , Applied for H1 (COS) by 2 employers. Waiting for the approval.

Is there any issues in applying for COS by 2 employers. What will happen if both request gets approved ??

Please reply if anybody has experience.

There is no issue with filing two H-1B COS requests for two different employers.

In that case, however, under the last action rule, it will be the last H-1B approval generated that will dictate your status and who you can work for under the H-1B.

If you obtain an approval for Company 1 and that is where you wish to work, you should send in a withdrawal request for the H-1B for Company 2. If you still want Company 2, wait for that approval and as the last action taken on your case, that last approval should be the valid one.

Hi , Thanks very much for this information.

If both approvals come almost together, so that I am not in a position to cancel one...like..in the order

Approval for Company 1 (First)
2-3 days later
Approval for company 2 (second)

Can I opt for company 1 ?

or can I opt for company 2, later change to company 1 ?
