H1 to L1

I'm on H1 currently and will be expired within next 2 months. My L1 is being filed by employer instead of H1 extension. Will there be any impact on my H1 status due to this? Can I transfer my H1 to another employer in next month?

To transfer your H1B, you need 'valid' employment in US. Also you have to prove that you have recent pay stubs If you do NOT have recent pay stubs, then you may need to explain the reasons to the INS.
There is NO "Grace Period" permitted when an H1B employee changes his employer.
