Filing L1 Petition, travelled to US on B1 recently... is there any issue

Hi All,


I am working with IBM india since Jan 2005, I have total WorkEx about 6yrs+.
My query is that, I have travelled to US on B1 visa twice in last one year..
The last time I came back from US was March 13th 2006.

Now I need to file the L1 petition, as per my travel department, I have not spent 1 continous year with IBM India i.e. out of US.
So, they cannot take it further with US Embassy. Is it the correct justification for rejection..???

No..they seem not to understand the requirements. The requirement is that you need to have been employed for at least one year with the foreign company (IBM India) within the last three years before the US IBM can apply for a LI on your behalf
