Queries on EAD

Hi,

My spouse is in L2 visa and she is working ( she holds Employment Authorization document(EAD)). Our Visa( L1 & L2) & I-94 are valid till end of Aug'09. We are planning to go to India on two weeks vacation on Jan'07 to attend our family function.

Questions :-

1. Do we need to apply again for EAD after coming back from vacation even though L1 visa & L2 visa are same ?

2. In EAD card, it is mentioned that " not valid for multiple entry". Does it mean that EAD card is not valid if we go out of country and come back even in same L1 & L2 visa ? I believe that EAD card needs to be reapplied only when Visa got changed.

Hi Kanna,

I don't have answer for you but having question.I am having L2. I applied EAD through online. I got receipt number and but i dnno what all docs i need to send them. Can you please help me if you have experienced with this.

You dont need to reapply for EAD, until you are on same visa.
