My current VISA status here in USA is H-1B. My wife is working as an Assisntant Manager in an company in India for more than a year and has not worked out of india before. She is still in India and has to get H-4 VISA. Now her company wants to set up an office in USA and want her to supervise the office & take care of the business actively. They have their business and offices in UK & some other European countries.
Is it possible that first she comes here on H-4 VISA and later transfer her VISA to L-1 once the office is set up. If it possible then how should she procede her case. OR in order to get L-1 she has to take it from india only?
