L2 visa

My husband is coming to the US on an L1 visa and I would be accompanying him on an L2 visa. I would like to know if I may
1)Work in the US on an L1 visa or would I need to apply for a H1 Visa
2)If I may study in the US (on an L1 visa) in a full-time/part time Graduate program at a University in the US and if I am eligible to apply for financial aid in the form of an assistantship or wokking on campus.

1. You can apply for work permit (EAD) while on L2.

2. You can work full time or par ttime. You will have to check with the university regarding assistantship etc.
