About L1 renewel and visa appt

Hi,

My current L1 (WAC-ZZZ) is valid till June-2007.
I have taken a L1 visa appt at mumbai and specified the petition number as WAC-ZZZ.

Now I have also received a L1 extension (WAC -YYY) which is valid from June-2007 to June-2009.

Should I modify the visa appt to specify this new WAC number ? I am confused because the new number is valid from June 2007 and I have visa appt in Feb 2007.

Please suggest...

---- You can try, but I believe you cannot change the number. However, at the time of interview the inform the pre-screening officer about the number and show them both the documents and the change will be made accordingly. when you present the Li extension letter the VO also will understand this and the Visa will be issued accordingly
