Request for evidence(RFE) from the USCIS

Hi,

I have applied for L1 visa for US through my present company.
Currenly the visa status is Request for evidence(RFE) from the USCIS.

Please let me know what could be the reasons for a RFE or what evidence will be required generally?

If my company responds to the RFE in a timely manner, will USCIS process immediately or will it take some more time?

---- Only the company who ahs receive dthe RFE can tell what exactly the USCIS has asked in the RFE. All other matters are pure speculation
