Urgent Help for L1-B petition

Hi,

My friend came in L1-B Visa and here are the details.

VISA Expiration Date-: 22Dec'05
PED-: 22Dec'05
Entry Date-: 24Apr'05
I-94 Expiration Date-: 23Apr'08

Is there any problem in working in US as VISA Petition is expired?

Can he apply for L1-B petiotion extension as Petition is expired?

Now he wanted to call his parents, so will it be problem (Visa may get rejected) for his parents to get the sponsored VISA as his VISA & petition are expired even though his I-94 is valid?

Please let me know the solution for this ASAP. Thanks in advance.
