I had Visa Interview at Chennai consulate on 1st mar 07 for L1A visa which is a Intracompany transfer.
Interview went well, but fianlly they gave the 221g form and asked to me drop all the docs in drop box at VFS along with passport.Even though i had lot of docs which she marked in 221g,she refused to see the docs.
She did not returned my DS156 and 157 forms.
The thing is she thought mine is for L1B visa and started writing on Blue form to bring completed work details of specialised knowledge.By that time i told her that this is for L1A visa which is for managers/executives,then scratched out what she wrote.
These are the things which they asked me to drop it in dop box.My worry is some of things listed is related to L1B visa and our company people are telling not to drop the docs which are related to L1B visa.Is this going to create problems if docs related to L1B is not dropped in drop box, since these things are marked in blue form,i m bit worried.
A copy of the petition with all supporting documents as filed to USCIS. I 797, I-129, letter to USCIS.
Petitioner’s Income Tax Return for the last two tax years and financial statements.
A notarized list of all the petitioner’s employees for each location. The list should show all employees’ names, their specific job titles, start dates, end dates, and their individual salaries and immigration status.
State unemployment Wage Reports, showing all wages paid to each employee in the state, for the past three quarters as filed to: All states
(this should not be payroll reports but the actual forms filed to the state authorities listing each employee and wages paid during the quarter).
A copy of the contract between the US employment agency (petitioner) and the job site (the location where you will actually work)
A letter (on letterhead) from the personnel department at the US job site stating that there is a vacancy for you.
The applicant’s complete itinerary of services, including company names and addresses.
A detailed and specific description of the project to which he will be assigned. Include a complete technical description of the project, employer, timeline, current status, number of employees assigned, worksite location, and marketing analysis for the final product.
Do i need to drop DS 156 and 157 again??
Is anybody had same experience.Appreciate your reply in advance.
Regards
Raj
