  • B1/B2 and L2 visas simultaneously

I have got a 10 year B1/B2 multiple entry visa to the US valid from July 2004 to July 2014. I have visited the US two times and stayed for a month each time (Once in 2004 and again in 2005)

My wife got a L1 from her employer in Jan 2007. It is valid for 3 years. If I apply for L2 now, will my B1/B2 visa get cancelled? Can I request the VO not to cancel my B1/B2 visa citing my previous visits to the US?

---- Under normal circumstances B1/B2 does not get cancelled. You need not request as the VO's have to go by rules and regulations. However, at the POE, you have to declare on which Visa you want to enter, accordingly your I-94 will be stamped
