L1 Eligibility Criteria !!

Dear Sir,
I heared that to file L1 employee must be employed to the company for 1 year.

Now, I am goign to complete 1 year next month, in the mean time I had visited US for 6 motnths on B1 (with valid i-94).
Somone told me that those 6 months will not be concidered and will be deducted from 1 year. So, I will have to stay in India for 6 more months to complete 1 year period.
Is this true ?

Hi,

If you were sent by your employer to US on B1 and continued to receive salary from your employer during the time you stayed in US, you are eligible for L1 filing.
