L2 - EAD queries

Hi,

Would appreciate if anyone could help out me with the following queries i have regarding the I-765 form and EAD process

1) I am on L1 and my wife will arrive this weekend on L2. Is it advisable to apply for EAD as soon as she arrives or should i wait till her details reach the Immigration office from the port of entry ?? (as we must do before we apply for SSN)

2) Is there a "biometic" test fee applicable for this application ]category : a(18) ]

3) What are the documents required to be submitted: (below is the list i can think of - please let me know if we need to include/exclude any)
a) I-94 copy (back & front) - both mine and hers
b) Marriage Certificate Copy
c) L1 - petition copy
d) Her (applicant's) passport copy - first, visa and last page

---- Yes, get the SSN and then apply for EAD. it cannot be done before

2) Is there a "biometic" test fee applicable for this application

---- Enquire with your employer/attorney for these details as rules can change anytime

EAD query

Hi,
My husband is on L1 visa and i am on working on L2-EAD. His visa will expire in May 2017 and my EAD is also till May'2017. If somehow his company file extension for his visa say 1 year so would like to know that would i need to go for new EAD or is there any other process to renew it?

Please let me know.
