    L2 Visa - Marriage Certificate made from Purulia, West Bengal

    My wife is in US on L1 and now I am going on L2 dependent visa, but we do not have marriage certificate. We are getting it made from Purulia, West Bengal in back date, because she cannot come here to sign the marriage certificate. We have all other documents like invitation card/ all marriage photos.

    Will such a certificate be an issue for L2 visa?

    Not only marriage certificate, but your spouse name on your passport is essential. I wd advise not to go for stamping without these two.

      I am not sure if spouse name on the passport is realy a big deal. But yes, marrage certificate is required....
