H4 to L1 visa...please help

Please advise in the following scenario. I am on H4 visa staying in US and I have found a firm who outsources its work to India and gets temporary workers on L1 visa to USA. Is it possible to transfer H4 visa to L1 visa without leaving the country ?
If I find a consulting firm in India, who can sponsor my L1 visa, then can I change it staying in this country itself ? Any information on this is really appreciated. Please help !!

To get an L1 Visa, You must have worked in that company atleast for one year in last 3 years of time.
