  • Pending L1

Hi there, I have a serious delema here. I entered the states on April 23 from Canada and was intended to leave May 8th 2007. I got stamped on my passport by homeland security to leave by May 9th 2007 in hand writting. I have now been here for 3 months since I decided to stay longer and do some further training with my company. I am being paid Canadian. My company has locations globally and i am currently in the process to have my L-1 Visa processed. I am suppose to transfer from the Canada location to the one in the US as soon as my work permit is done.

My question is I am getting different answered from sources on what to do. Do I need to leave immediatly or can I stay a month longer which is still under 180 days?

PLease help me in any way you can.

    Thanks,
