I'm in US and need to process L2 for my kid. I heard birth certificate is mandatory. But my kid's birth certificate is in Native Language. But her passport has my name and my wife name, dob, place of bith, etc. Is that (birth cert) in native language OK (or) I need to get the birth certificate translated. If I need to get it translated, is it okay to get if from Notary.

Please help.

you need an english translation of all documents that you provide and a notary can do it.
