query on L1 visa application and eligibility

I have completed one year in my organization and wish to apply for L1 visa.
However within this 1 year duration i was in US on business visa B1 for a total of 6 months (2 visits of 3 months each).

Am i still eligible to apply for L1 visa or do i need to spend a total of 1 year i.e. 12 months physically in India during my stint in this company to apply for L1?
Pls advice.

There is no such requirement of 12 months physically being in India. You should have employee-employer relationship for 12 months.
