L2 Ead

Hi,
Can anyone help me?
I am on L2 and Applied for EAD 60 days before.

My Questions are,
Q1) Can i join in any company for work before i get my EAD?

Q2) When my spouse (L1 Holder) leaves from US, can i continue my stay legally in US or i should also leave with my spouse.

--- No, you can't join.coz they will check EAD(whether authorised to work or not) and more over you dont have SSN if the company pays for your work(as no bank account can be opened with out SSN)
-- i came across people work on L2 with out EAD n SSN(this is advantage to the people who provide work) but they dont get the money for their work @ the end of it.

Q2) When my spouse (L1 Holder) leaves from US, can i continue my stay legally in US or i should also leave with my spouse.

Clarification on q2

One clarifn on Q2
If L2 has an EAD then can he/she work, even if the L1 holder leave USA?

No. He/She can work only upto L1 holder maintains his/her status and remains in US
