L2 Visa Request for Clarification

Hello Friends,

I am planning to get married in Feb 2008 and I have to re-stamp the visa after my first term on L1A.

My fiancee is planning to take couple of years of leave. Is this status required to be disclosed for an L2 Visa or can be said not working presently. Would this be trackked in case I need to apply for EAD or GC.
