Widowed Mother - Can she get a L2?

Hi,

This is Satish. I am currently in India and intend to travel to US on L1 long term. Can some one tell me if I can take my widowed mother along? Which type of Visa would be applicable to her? Can she get a L2 as she is dependant on me? If she cannot get a L2 can i take her on Tourist visa? can some one explain the process to me? Has any one tried this before?

Yes ...

Yes, your mother can get a dependant visa. I've known a few people get their single parents to the US on this visa.

Yes, you can take single parent on L2..

No specific documents are required,convience the VO with a reason..
