I was wondering if the requirements for L1 state that one must be employed in the same branch/office/daughter company for a continues year, or is it possible to be employed in two or more branches of the mother company in the US, and still qualify for L1.
Using an example:
An individual is on the Payroll of branch A for 1/2 a year, and then move to the payroll of branch B for another 1/2 year. Over all the individual was employed for 1 year, with no break in the employment term, in the sense of the employment in branch B started the day after the employment in branch A was terminated.
Based on this condition, does the employee qualify for L1 status?
Thanks!
