Leaving the USA while asking for an EAD with an L2 visa ...

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if I can leave the USA while my application for the EAD (with an L2 visa) is still running. I am afraid I will get a new I-94 number when I come back and I do not know if this could be a problem.

---- Baically it doe not matter. However, it is better to receive the EAD ans have it with you. It doe not mean anything outside the US

---- Regarding I-94 you have to handover the present I-94 at the Port of Departure and get a new I-94 while entering the US. This is just normal and there is question of fear
