Whether to bring spouse on L2 or L1

Hi, I am working on L1 B since past 1 year. Getting married now and planning to bring my wife(who is working in India and intends to work in the US). She has her L1 regular filed.
I have few questions in this scenario.
1. Now what is the best option to go for - bring her on L2 or let her come on L1.
2. If her L1 petition doesnt come in time ( before our wedding), I was thinking of bringing her on L2 and then after coming here change the status from L2 to L1. Is that possible and easy to do so?
3. If she comes on L2 and gets her EAD and her employer gets her GC processing. Me,as her spouse also considered for GC processing?

I would really appreciate it if you could clarify these points and provide some suggestion.

1.if she is on L2 with EAD she can work for any employer but if the job is of contract type we shld keep on searching once the contract finishes, while if she is on L1-- job security will be there, dedicated to a particular employer

on the personal front--- if you want her to be with you as long as u r in US better to be on L2 coz if both r on L1, projects may keep on changing and it may compel one of you leave the country(unless they r very long term).
