I am on L1B visa (Visa expired on AUG' 2005,Petition expired on May'2007) and my I94 is expiring on March'2008.
My employer applied for extension on MAY'2007 for which we got an RFE(Request for Extra Evidence) in JUNE'2007. We have sent the RFE in AUG'07.
Till date, the USCIS site(California Service Center) have not given any updates except that they have received documents and case processing has resumed
- If we DONOT hear back from USCIS, can we still stay after I-94 expiry(March'08)
- My Wife is on L2 and her EAD expires in Aug'08 and I94 is same expiry date as Mine. In that case can she work?? Does she have to apply for extension ?If so, How?
-Can we go to India and get stamped again or is it better to just wait to hear back from USCIS?Whats the best approach
Note: I/My employer have called many a times at customer care no but they provide same information as seen on their website
Please advise us !!!!!!!!!!!
