Supporting documetns for L1

Hi this is raj...recently i have started the process of L1....I have all the supporting documents except my Original Degree...of my post graduation...I went to my university to collect my convocation, University ppl said that they will give my convocation at the time of convocation function only...and they also said that...they are ready to give...alternative certificate (authorization certificate, (To whom may it concern)) duly signed by register and vc and controller of exam...

Please let me know wither embassy ppl will accept the authorization certificate instead of original degree....

Please help me...with relevant information....
