L2 EAD Approval - Urgent

Hi,

The receipt date of my L2 EAD is Nov, 2007. Can someone please reply to my questions:

a) When can I expect my EAD to be approved as I already have a job offer in hand and want to start asap?

b) Can I start working for the firm in anticipation of the approval?

I am unable to obtain any information on the expected approval date.

you cant start working with the receipt notice..u need to have THAT EAD.also if you didnt receive your EAD in 90 days from the date you applied you can apply for temporary EAD,get that n can start working..google for the temp EAD info..

Is it true that I can work with the receipt notice? What abt SSN formalities? Dont they need an approved EAD?
