  • VISA stamping

    Hi

I've the following query regarding my Visa. Please take a look and clarify this.
    • I'm on L1 and L1 visa stamped on my passport is upto 29 June 2009 and when I enter USA first time , I got the I-94 upto 17 March 2008 because of my passport expiration. So I've applied for my Extension and received a I-797 approval along with I-94 attached with date from 18th March 2008 to April 10 2010. Now I'm along with my wife going to Kolkata,India on 20th March 2008 and will come back to USA on 13th April 2008. So do I need to re-stamp my VISA again with the new approval date in Kolkata,India? Do I need to go to US consulate in Kolkata for re-stamping OR while re-entry they can correct my VISA in USA itself? Do I really need to re-stamp? Let me know.
    • My Wife in L2 and her visa stamped on the passport is upto 29 June 2009 and her I-94 is also upto 29 June 2009. Is she also need to re-stamp in India due to my extension? Let me know.

    Waiting for your reply.

You don't need restamping. You can enter any time up to 29 Jun 2009.
