L1 visa Query's - its urgent
Hi,
I have following queries on L1 visa :
1. My cousin has a L1 -Blanket visa issued in India in April 2005. It will now be
expiring in April 2008. But within this duration he has never travelled to USA.
But there are some chances that he may travel in April 2008 or May2008
and in that case the visa date may expire.
Is there any way he can extend the current L1-blanket visa which he is
having so that he can travel in May 2008.
2. As he has never travelled within the last 3 years (almost 2 yrs and 11 months) and now according to point 1 if he extends or if not , if he applies for new visa , will it be a bad impression on the US Consulate as he had the Visa but didnt travelled and which may reject his extension or new L1 visa request.
3. Suppose say Visa expiration date is 28 April 2008 (issed on 27 April 2005)
In this case can the person travel to US on 26th April 2008 and reach US on 27th or 28 April 2008. As he arrived in US on last day will he be issued or permitted to Stay in US for next 3 years ie till April 2011?
