US L1-B query - Imp n urgent

Please find the following query and reply to each of them.

1. US L1 B Visa issued in India on 28 April 2005 and valid 27 April 2008.
Uptill now (07 march 2008) the person has not travelled to US at all.
However if the person travels to US in March 2008 (1 month prior to the expiry date) for the first time, how long he can stay in US ? is it only till April 2008 ie just 2 months or he can stay for 3 years ie till April 2011?

2. US L1 B Visa issued in India on 28 April 2005 and valid 27 April 2008.
Can this visa be extended so that the person can travel to US in month later than april 2008 (say may or june 2008)?

27 April 2008, your I 94 will be 99% same as Visa End date.

I don't think L2 can be extended unless L1 is extended.
