My company has applied for the extension of my L1 on Jul 15. Meanwhile, my wife's I-94 is expiring on Aug 21.
Is there a way to apply for my wife's I-94 extension based on the following : we have been here for 2.5 years on L visa, my extension has already been filed, and my wife is expecting, and so it is not the best thing for her to travel to India and back right now.
Can we apply in the Local INS office for consideration on these grounds ?
Any precedents...suggestions....please let me know.
