    L1 validity

    hi all,

    I need some info regarding the L1 visa. my company has applied for a L1 visa for me. My concern is I am thinking of shifting company soon. I wonder if i got a L1 visa from my present company then wether it will be valid for other comapies as well. Also if i didn't get visa now, how would that affect my later chances of geting visa from different comapny. please help...

    L1 is strictly employer specific and you need a new visa stamp if you change your L1 employer. You not using the previous L1 will not have any negative impact on the new stamp.
