L2 visa - new rules

Hi,

Recently there is a change in the law where in L2 (dependent visa holder for L1) can get apply for a work permit. Is there any restriction here as to how many years the L1 holder should be in US before his/her spouse on L2 can apply for this employment authorization. Please let me know if you have any information on this.

There are no restrictions on the length of stay before one can apply for work authorization on L2. You should be able to apply anytime after having L1 / L2.
