  • L1 B blanket rejected

    Hello,

My L1B blanket was rejected saying that this can not be approved as a blanket. Can someone please let me know what are my chances to get this through if I get L1B individual visa filed.

    Thanks,
    Naresh

Your initial rejection will not impact the outcome of your next L1 petition.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

Thanks for the quick reply. Does any one has any idea if the notes enetred by the visa officer in my last rejection would be reffered in my next interview?

They could if they wanted to. If the rejection was for the reason you mentioned, you have nothing to worry about as long as it was not fraud.

            Hi txh1b

I appeared for L1 B in July 2010 at Chennai consulate. It got denied under "Your blanket L-1 is not clearly approvable under section 8 CFR 214.2(I) (ii) (D) and INA 101(a)15(L)".

My company is planning to process B1 for me, to attend a global conference. I need to be there in US for one week only. So I will say the duration of stay as 1 week.

Also, my husband is in US on F1 visa.

I am worried if my visa will get rejected again. Is there any chance that my visa get rejected as a potential immigrant (because my husband is in US)?
