  • L1 Question - Please help

My company is planning to process L1 Premium Visa for me. my degree is B.E computer Science. the problem is, i was supposed to complete my degree in 2000. but unfortunately i completed only in 2003. there is three years gap between my course completion and degree completion. will it affect my VISA. Please let me know as early as possible.

    Thanks,
    Gopi.

No issues as long you have the degree at the time of filing the L1, I think.

Thanks. Can I proceed to process. i am afraid while the attorney is evaluating my education, he may reject my petition.

Is there something wrong with your degree? Why are you affraid? If you meet the requirements for L1 specialty occupation, you should be ok.

Thanks for the quick response. i don't have any other problem in my degree except this gap. i have only cumulative marksheet and dont have individual semester wise mark sheet. is that cumulative marksheet is enought for applying petition.

I guess your company will need to evaluate your education. This, I think, is a standard process of determining foreign degree equivalency. The gap is fine. Many people (GC and USCs) here in the U.S. have gaps.
