L1A holder lost job

My husband and I have lived here for 2 years, he is on an L1A visa and i am on an L2. My husband just lost his job, and we are looking for some advice in relation to our visa situation. We have a house in the USA (plus many pets) - in the current property market (and given the poor state our house is in - it is a fixer upper!) we wil incurr a large loss on our property if we have to leave, not to mention the loss in my earnings. Does anyone know of any way we can potentially stay here and have one or both of us stay employed?
I would really appreciate any help you can give us.

No, it is not possible. It is suggested that one apply for B1/B2 COS in such circumstances and wind up things. That is the risk that we bear as immigrants.

You cannot work on L2 if your spouse is not on L1 status.
