Working on L2 visa

Hi,

One of my friend is arriving in US next week on L1 Visa. His wife has also got L2 stamped.

This question is related to the spouse of my friend who is coming on L2. Her company offers her project in US but the problem is EAD. EAD would take about 3 months. The company requires the person to start immediately.

What is the way out in this? Can she start immediately on arriving while EAD is files and not received?

Please answer ASAP.

She has to wait till the EAD is approved as one cannot work without proper work authorization. Employers are required to verify the authorization.

The only way out that I see is to obtain some other work visa like L1 for her as well.
